NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING OF THE MARSHALL COUNTY PLANNING COMMISSION


Notice is hereby given that at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, a public hearing will be held before the Marshall County Planning Commission for the amendment of the 2025 Marshall County Subdivision Regulations. Meeting will be held at the Marshall County Courthouse Annex, second floor, room 2204.

Public comments are to be heard on the following proposal:

Amendment and addition to section 4-106.2 Fire Hydrants: Minor and Major Plat requirements.


All interested parties are invited to attend. The proposed amendments and additions may be viewed at marshallcountytn.com/Building Inspector/Codes. Please direct all questions to the Marshall County Building Official at 931-359-0567.

The purpose of Marshall County Building Codes is to establish minimum requirements to safeguard the public safety, health and general welfare through affordability, structural strength, means of egress facilities, stability, sanitation, light and ventilation, energy conservation and safety to life and property from fire and other hazards attributed to the built environment, and to provide safety to fire fighters and emergency responders during emergency operations.
